Organizer
The City of Levallois organizes every year the Levallois Prize to support young international photography, an opportunity to encourage and promote new talents. The Levallois Prize is open to young photographers under 35 years of age, of any nationality, and nominates one winner who will receive €۱۰,۰۰۰ and an exhibition at the Galerie de L’Escale in Levallois in October-November 2017. This grant attributed every year to the laureate makes it one of the world’s best endowed awards in support of emerging photography. A Special Mention and a Public Price will also be awarded. Both recipients will be exhibited along with the winner of the Levallois Prize at the Galerie L’Escale. Welcoming any form of photographic writing, the selection of the Levallois Prize aspires to promote young photographers’ creative research, whether in narrative, aesthetic, technical or formal terms. The Jury will particularly focus on the coherence between the formal and narrative artistic processes.
