جایزه حمایت هنری «Project Anywhere» یک رویداد بین المللی ارزیابی دقیق نمایشگاهی است که برای توسعه هنر و پژوهش های هنری در اقصی نقاط زمین در نظر گرفته شده است. از زمان شروع آن در سال ۲۰۱۲، این رویداد بطور سالانه ۴ تا ۸ پروژه را میزبانی کرده است. اگرچه توضیحات و تصاویر مربوط به پروژه های حمایت شده در یک وبسایت اختصاصی نمایش داده می شود، Project Anywhere یک فضای نمایشگاهی آنلاین نیست. در عوض، این رویداد محملی برای معرفی پروژه های هنری است که در هرجای مکان و زمان قرار دارند. بعنوان بهترین تصویر می توان آن را بعنوان یک فضای نمایشگاهی گسترش یافته که تمام زمین را در بر می گیرد معرفی کرد که در آن نقش برگزارکننده (کیوریتور) با یک مدل ارزیابی نامشخص جایگزین شده است.
معیارهای ارزیابی رویداد Project Anywhere تأکید می کند که همه پیشنهادها باید یک موضوع واضح و متقاعدکننده برای پروژه پیشنهادی ارائه کنند تا به شناخت یک زمینه مشخص از یک کار خلاقانه کمک کنند. همچنین انتظار می رود که همه طرح های پیشنهادی ادبیات و سوابق هنری مرتبط را معرفی کنند. پروژه ها می توانند اساسا عقلی و استدلالی باشند و می تواند روش های موجود را گسترش داده یا با آنها مخالفت کنند. همه طرح های رسیده به Project Anywhere توسط چهار هنرمند دانشگاهی دارای جایگاه بین المللی بررسی می شوند. در نهایت، همه متقاضیان یک مجموعه جامع از چهار بازخورد برای ملاحضات بعدی دریافت می کنند.

متقاضیان می بایست یک هنرمند یا پژوهشگر در هرجای کره زمین باشند. پروژه های مشارکتی یا گردآوری و نیز پروژه هایی که توسط سایر موسسات میزبانی می شوند نیز می توانند تقاضا ارسال کنند. این طرح می تواند مناسب هنرمندانی است که در جستجوی اعتبار سنجی مستقل و انتشار بین المللی پژوهش های هنری هستند.

Your proposal should include the following:
۱٫ Title of proposed project.
۲٫ Location(s), date(s) and duration (if known) for proposed project. This information can be updated later.
۳٫ A detailed project proposal clearly stating the project’s potential for creating new knowledge (please refer to our “Evaluation Criteria”).
۴٫ Images, audio/visual materials and (non-attributable) links can be included where appropriate.
NB: To be eligible for blind peer evaluation, it is imperative that ALL NAME AND CONTACT DETAILS ARE REMOVED from the proposal document (and all accompanying materials). Contact details should be included in the body of the email only.
Evaluation Criteria
Project Anywhere is a vehicle for hosting and disseminating art and research undertaken outside traditional exhibition circuits. It is perhaps best imagined as a project space comprising the entire globe (and beyond) in which the role of curator is replaced with the type of peer review model typically endorsed by a refereed journal. Project Anywhere endorses a rigorous two-stage peer review process. First, double blind peer evaluations of all project proposals by artist academics of international standing determine which projects will be hosted. A second open peer review process of final project outcomes determines which projects are archived in our “۲nd level archive” (all other projects are placed in the general project archive at the cessation of the hosting period).
Evaluation criteria for proposals:
۱٫ The proposed project is identifiable with following definition of research: Research is defined as the creation of new knowledge and/or the application of existing knowledge so as to generate new concepts, methodologies and understandings.
۲٫ The proposal makes a clear and compelling claim for the project’s potential to contribute to knowledge in an identified field of creative practice (the project can be speculative, experimental or discursive in nature). The claim should be made in the form of a hypothesis or proposition and it should identify relevant literature and aligned creative works; it may identify the project’s potential to build upon creative precedents; it may extend or contradict existing methodologies.
۳٫ The project description is articulated clearly; ideas are comprehensible.
Evaluation criteria for final project outcomes:
۱٫ The project’s implications for its field are communicable, its research outcomes are clear, and it makes a significant contribution to knowledge.
۲٫ The methodology is substantiated by evidential documentation and this is presented in a form that enables the dissemination of knowledge.
Score:
After writing each project evaluation, our blind peer reviewers (all of which are artist academics of international standing) are asked to provide a score. These scores are tallied to produce our final project rankings.
۱٫ Reject: Proposal/project inappropriate or has little merit.
۲٫ Probable reject: Basic flaws in content or very poorly presented.
۳٫ Marginal tend to reject: Not significantly flawed; major effort necessary to make acceptable.
۴٫ Marginal tend to accept: Content has merit, but could be improved.
۵٫ Clear accept: Project meets evaluation criteria; improvements may be advisable but acceptable as is.
۶٫ Must accept: Outstanding proposal/project. Suggested improvements still appropriate.
۲nd level
Although all projects that successfully navigate peer evaluation at the proposal stage are permanently archived at the cessation of the hosting period, only projects that successfully navigate the “۲nd level” of peer evaluation (see our “peer evaluation policy”) will feature in our “۲nd level” archive. To facilitate this process, Project Anywhere will arrange peer evaluation of project outcomes (substantial documentation etc.). Unlike the double blind peer review process employed at the proposal stage, this “۲nd level” of peer evaluation will be an open process.
To arrange peer evaluation of project outcomes, we require project documentation that best approximates an experience of the work together with any accompanying materials that might help to substitute the project’s original contribution to the field. Under ideal conditions, we will arrange peer reviewers to directly experience the work.
To date, no projects have successfully navigated this ۲nd level of peer evaluation.
