این جشنواره رویدادی متفاوت از سایر جشنواره ها به شمار می رود. در انتخاب فیلم ها، مخاطبان هرگز فراموش نمی شوند. جهان هرساله هر چه سریعتر و سریعتر به جلو حرکت می کند. این موضوع ما را بر آن می دارد تا اطمینان حاصل کنیم که مخاطبان ما از جذاب ترین تمایلات و گرایشات جهان سینما در سریعترین زمان ممکن آگاه می شوند. از این روی، مخاطبان OASFF می توانند سینمای مستقل آمریکا، آسیا، آمریکای لاتین و سینماهای ایرانی، روسی و سایر سینماها را کشف کنند. نکته جذاب این رویداد هم در همین بخش نهفته است که در متن آن بطور مستقل ازسینمای ایران نام برده شده است.
شرکت در این مسابقه رایگان است و فیلم های کوتاه داستانی و انیمیشن تا پنج دقیقه که بعد از ۱۱ خرداد ۱۳۹۴ ساخته شده باشند می توانند در آن شرکت کنند.

Open Air Short Film Festival
The Open Air Short Film Festival differs from other festivals in its program. Selecting the films, we always remember about our audience.
The world of cinema is rushing forward faster and faster every year. As for that we try to make sure that our audiences get to know the latest and most interesting trends in the world of short film cinema as soon as possible.
We invite you to the Festival in the hope that it will be a great adventure for all.
General Rules
of the Open Air Short Film Festival
۱٫ ORGANISATION, AIMS, DATES
The Open Air Sort Film Festival (OASFF) is organised by the team of Film professionals on voluntary basis. Its aim is to present the best films from all over the world to Belarusian and international audience, and to encourage better communication and understanding between people living in different countries and of different cultural backgrounds.
The 2nd Open Air Short Film Festival will take place on the 26-27th of August at the Museum of the History of Belarusian Cinema (Minsk, Svyardlova Str. 4).
۲٫ SECTIONS
The Festival programme is divided into the following sections:
۲٫۱٫ International Competition – for short films (under 5 minutes) from all over the world.
۲٫۲٫ National Competition – for short films (under 5 minutes) from Belarusian filmmakers.
۳٫ ELIGIBILITY
۳٫۱٫ Only films meeting the following criteria can be presented at the Open Air Sort Film Festival:
a) films which had been completed after January 1, 2015;
b) films which have not been previously shown on the Internet;
c) films no longer than 5 minutes;
d) films which have not been previously submitted to the OASFF.
۳٫۲٫ Acceptable preview formats:
– Digital file;
– Online screener.
۳٫۳٫ Acceptable screening formats:
– Digital File;
– DVD.
۴٫ SELECTION
۴٫۱٫ The Festival team selects and invites the films to participate in the Festival.
۴٫۲٫ Films will be accepted for selection only if submitted before the deadline as online screener with English subtitles (if the language of dialogues is not English, Russian or Belarusian) and accompanied by necessary information as listed on the festival website.
۵٫ DEADLINE, DATES
The 1st of June – deadline for submissions of the films;
The 1st of August – selection results announced to the entrants. Festival inform only the entrants whose films were selected. If you do not receive an invitation from us by notification date, it means that your film has not been selected for the OASFF programme;
۲۶-۲۷th of August – Dates of the Festival
۶٫ LANGUAGE VERSIONS AND SUBTITLES
۶٫۱٫ All films will be screened in their original languages with Russian subtitles, except for films with dialogues in Russian or Belarusian.
۷٫ SCREENINGS
۷٫۱٫ Each film will be screened one time.
۸٫ JURIES
۸٫۱٫ The Juries are appointed by the Festival Team. The decisions of the Juries are taken by open voting with simple majority. Persons who have any connection with films presented in the competition cannot be on the Jury.
۹٫ AWARDS
There are following awards:
– Award for the Best Film;
– Award for the Best Animatied Film;
– Award for the Best Belarusian Film;
– The Audience Award.
۱۰٫ OTHER ISSUES
۱۰٫۱٫ Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of the Festival regulations.
۱۰٫۲٫ Once the invitation has been accepted, the invited film cannot be withdrawn from the Festival programme.
۱۰٫۳٫ Cases not covered by these Regulations will be considered in compliance with the International Regulations.
Submitting a film

June 1 – for International competition;
June 15 – for National competition.

SUBMITTING A FILM
A. Please consult Festival Regulations before submitting the film to check if your film meets the eligibility criteria. You don’t need to fill any forms at this stage.
B. You can submit your film online. Please send a password-protected link of your film to the following email address: oasff.office@gmail.com
D. The following information should be sent along with the online link:

۲٫ Director(-s);
۳٫ Country(-ies) of Production;
۴٫ Running time (in minutes);
۵٫ Year of Production;
۶٫ Producer, Production Company coordinates;
۷٫ Coordinates of Person/Company submitting the film and its relation with the film (Producer, Director, Sales Agent, Distributor, other).
۸٫ In which section you would like to present your film.
IMPORTANT: Submissions without the information above will not be considered.
WE WILL CONTACT ONLY THE ENTRANTS WHOS FILMS WERE SELECTED. ONCE THE FILM IS INVITED, WE WILL ASK YOU TO:
A. Enter the AGREEMENT OF FILM PARTICIPATION – we will send it to you by e-mail.
B. Send us as soon as possible the PUBLICITY MATERIALS.
C. Send us the SCREENING MATERIAL. We will send you the detailed instructions.

By submitin your film to the 1st Open Air Short Film Festival you agreed to the following Terms and Conditions.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Open Air Sort Film Festival is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt of no more than one minute length from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts all requirements and festival regulations (General Rules).
The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless The Open Air Sort Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
Once the invitation has been accepted, the invited film cannot be withdrawn from the Festival programme.
