فراخوان چهارمین نمایشگاه سالانه «خوشنویسی در گفتگو» مرکز هنری ضیا در برکلی کالیفرنیا منتشر شد.

مرکز هنری ضیا توسط آرش شیرین باب، فاطمه منتظری و ضحا محزون که هر سه هنرمند و خوشنویس هستند در نوامبر سال ۲۰۱۲ بعنوان یک مرکز چندفرهنگی هنری با ایجاد مشارکت با مراکز اجتماعی فرهنگی محلی تأسیس شده است و برنامه های متعدد هنری و فرهنگی شامل ورکشاپ، کتاب خوانی، نمایش فیلم، اجراهای سنتی و نمایشگاه های هنری را برگزار کرده است. این مرکز مشارکت خود را با مراکز اجتماعی فرهنگی محلی، موسسات هنری، کتاب خانه های عمومی و دانشکده ها گسترش داده است. این مرکز همچنین ارتباطات طولانی مدت را با هنرمندانی از جنوب آسیا، خاورمیانه و شمال آفریقا(SAMENA|South Asia to Middle East and North Africa) برای حمایت و نمایش آثار آنها از طریق گالری های مجازی آنلاین و نمایشگاه های واقعی در ایالات متحده آمریکا برقرار کرده است.
«خوشنویسی در گفتگو | Calligraphies in Conversation» شامل نمایشگاه های سالانه گروهی بین المللی و مجموعه ایاز رویدادها در مکان های عمومی شامل نمایشگاه های خوشنویسی، کارگاه و کلاس های استادی با تمرکز بر حمایت از تشویق خوشنویسی سنتی به شیوه ای ملموس است. تمرکز این برنامه بر شروع یک مکالمه معنادار بین سنت های مختلف خوشنویسی، خطوط، زبان ها و فرهنگ ها است. رویداد امسال با تکیه بر تجارب موفقیت آمیز سه گانه قبلی اجرا می شود که از سال ۲۰۱۴ در گالری ها و مراکز فرهنگی مختلف کالیفرنیای شمالی شامل مرکز فرهنگی آسیایی اکلند و گالری موسسه هنر شهر فِرمُنت برگزار شده اند.

جزئیات ثبت نام
Calligraphers and artists in all levels with any style, script, and language (including but not limited to English, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Tibetan, Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Hindi, Baybayin, etc.) may submit up to 2 pieces to be considered for the exhibition. Maximum acceptable size for works is 14 inch on either side.
We accept classic and traditional calligraphy as well as contemporary ways of using letters in any medium such as painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, glass, textile art, typography, digital art, and mixed media. We only accept original works; No reproductions or prints are accepted for the exhibition unless the work is created digitally.
چگونگی ثبت نام
Artists must fill out the online form available on this page and upload the image of up to 2 of the artworks they want to participate. The submission deadline is on July 1, 2017, 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
The online submission form asks for artist’s information, short artist biography (max 100 words) and artwork specifications (title, actual size, medium, content or translation in English and price in US Dollars, if for sale). When uploading the image of your works please note that the name of the images of your works should be your first and last name, and the title of the artwork (example: James Smith-Sunset) corresponding exactly with its title on the Submission Form. The image of the artwork should not include frame and glass and should be of a good quality that is representable to the curators and then publishable through digital and print media (preferably a minimum of 2000pixel in the longest side, 300dpi quality). We only accept jpeg and jpg formats and files under 2 MG.
Curators of the exhibition will review the submitted forms and images and will announce the accepted works and artists by July 9, 2017 by email and through www.ziyaart.com so please make sure to enter a valid email in the online submission form.
Accepted original works should then be received for the exhibition by September 1, 2017. To participate in this exhibition it is not necessary for the calligraphers and artists to be present at the exhibition.
فروش و تبلیغات
Due to the policy of the San Francisco Public Library, artworks displayed in this exhibition cannot be for sale. We will actively promote the submitted and selected artworks in the course of the exhibition and beyond through various methods including but not limited to representing the image of the artworks and the artists through email lists, social media, multiple websites, apps, and exhibition catalog to make sure several thousands of audiences will view the works and get to know the calligraphers and artists globally. Artists will receive an official digital Certificate of Participation via email.
مسئولیت
The artwork will be displayed in a safe and secure location at the Skylight Gallery and will be insured by the San Francisco Public Library through the exhibition. However, the artwork will not be insured beyond the exhibition and neither the organizer nor the hosting organizations bear any liability in this regard. Images of artwork submitted may be used in printed and digital formats (including but not limited to the exhibit book, posters and flyers, and online/ digital representations) by the organizations leading the exhibition.

Submitting artwork to this exhibition acknowledges agreement set forth in this Call to Artists. The organizations leading the exhibition may rescind the right of displaying any art misrepresented or unsuitably presented and may change the conditions if necessary.

Artwork Mail or Drop off Options
۱- Artwork that is mailed should be received by September 1, 2017by Ziya Art Center. Artwork that is mailed should have a return label (prepaid return postage which we can use to return the work by mail without extra cost) and should have a secure returnable package. Pick Up and Return Details
January 19 and 20, 2018 from 3 pm – ۶ pm are the pickup date from Ziya Art Center at 2055 Center St., #307, Berkeley, CA, 94704. Please call 510-283-4518 before your arrival to arrange the pickup downstairs. Artworks that are mailed will be mailed back within the same time frame. Any artwork that is not picked up after January 20 or does not have a return label or is returned from post office or international custom for any reason, will be discarded or remained as our property and might be discarded, used in other exhibition, or used at our fundraisers and auctions in the future.
